１．円（/自国通貨）を売ってドルを買う人が増えるか？

増えると予想します。

理由

雇用統計の改善：雇用給付金（働かなかった場合に貰えるお金）の給付がそろそろ切れること、アメリカの新学期が始まる前に仕事を見つけようとする人が増えるであろうことから、改善を予想します。

金利の上昇：ジャクソンホールは米国の着実な回復を印象付けるものになると思います。例えば、テーパリングに向けた具体的な計画が示されるとか。その他物価指数等も着実に改善し、金利も上昇すると予想します。

米国株もしくは米国債が買われる：景気が順調に回復すれば米国株が、もしデルタ株で景気回復が遅れれば米国債が買われるものと予想します。
1. Will more people sell the yen (/ home currency) and buy the dollar?

I expect it to increase because of the followings:

Improving Employment Statistics: Expected to improve as employment benefits (money you get if you don't work) are about to run out and more people will try to find a job before the start of the new semester in the United States.

Rising interest rates: Jackson Hole will impress a steady recovery in the United States. It is possible that a concrete plan for tapering will be shown. Other price indexes are expected to improve steadily and interest rates are expected to rise.

US stocks or US Treasuries are bought: I expect US stocks to be bought if the economy recovers well, and US Treasuries to be bought if the economic recovery is delayed with Delta variant.

 

２．ドル（/自国通貨）を売って円を買う人が増えるか？

増えないと予想します。

新型ウイルス感染者増：オリンピック期間中に顕著な増加があったことが明らかになると予想します。

政治不信増：オリンピックに参加された選手には心から拍手するものの、開催に至る経緯と感染者増を考えると政治家は許せない、というのが大勢の方の感覚ではないでしょうか。支持率が下がるものと予想します。

日本株：上記の結果、なかなか外国人投資家が日本株に戻ってこないと予想します。

ユーロ：欧州で感染が増えれば、ドルが下がった際に、ユーロではなく円が買われる、という可能性はあると思います。とはいえ、残念ながら、欧州と日本を比べると、やはり欧州の方がコロナ対応が先行しているように思いますので、この可能性は低いと思います。

Increased political distrust: Although I applaud the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games from the bottom of my heart, I think many people feel that we cannot forgive politicians given the circumstances leading up to the event and the increase in the number of infected people. I expect the approval rating to drop.

Japanese equities: As a result of the above, I do not expect foreign investors to return to Japanese equities.

Euro: If the number of infections increases in Europe, I think it is possible that the yen will be bought instead of the euro when the dollar falls. However, unfortunately, when comparing Europe and Japan, I think that Europe is better than Japan, so I think this scenario is unlikely.

 

３．結論：上記の結果、ドルを買う人が増える一方で、円を買う人は増えないということで円安を予想します。円高に振れても大崩れはしないでしょう。112円を超えることがある。108円を切ることはない。と予想します。
